How to Wash Hair Extensions ?
Selecting the right care products is crucial. Make sure to check the ingredient list and avoid products containing:
SLS, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, denatured alcohol, ethanol, SD alcohol 40, propanol, Isopropyl alcohol and propyl.These ingredients strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to drier hair more prone to tangling or matting. Prolonged use can significantly impact the integrity of your hair, reducing the lifespan of your extensions.
Pro Tip:
During your shower, turn the temperature to cold just before finishing and give your hair a cold rinse. This helps maintain tight bonds and closes your pores
Opt for Sulfate-Free Shampoo:
Avoid shampoos containing sulfates as they can harm hair extensions. While sulfates create lather, they strip natural oils from the hair, resulting in dryness and frizz. To retain natural oil and moisture, opt for sulfate-free shampoo.
How to Care for K-Tip Hair Extensions ?
To keep your K-Tip extensions looking beautiful and to extend their lifespan, follow these maintenance tips:
Gentle Brushing: Use a loop brush designed for extensions to gently brush your hair every day. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots, holding the nearby hair where the extensions are attached to avoid putting pressure on the extensions.
Careful Washing: Choose a sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoo to gently cleanse your hair. Focus on cleaning the scalp and roots, avoiding vigorous rubbing of the extensions. Do not apply oily or heavy products directly at the keratin bonds, as these products can break down the adhesive over time.
Avoid Excessive Tugging: Be gentle when styling or brushing your hair to minimize stress on the extensions. Additionally, at night, tie your hair in a loose braid or ponytail to prevent tangling or pulling while you sleep.

How to Install It Using Cold Fusion?
1. Cut along the center line of the K-TIP protein tip to divide it in half.
2. Select a suitable amount of hair and pass it through the micro ring. Pull the hair through the ring and position the ring about 1/2 inch from the scalp.
3. Insert the Ktip hair extensions into the ring, and use pliers to tightly clamp the micro ring around the hair and the extensions to secure them together.

How to Install It Using Hot Fusion?
1. Wash your hair and blow dry it until completely dry, avoiding products like shampoo and serum that may affect the adhesion.
2. Divide the hair into several sections and secure them with sectioning clips.
3. Take a small section of clean, untangled natural hair, approximately the same thickness as the extension.
4. Place the keratin tip near the root of the hair, leaving about 1 centimeter from the scalp to ensure comfort and allow for natural movement. (Remember to use a heat protection pad for safety.)
5. Use a heating tool to soften the keratin.
6. Roll the softened keratin into a cylindrical shape with your fingers or pliers and wrap it around the hair.
7. Repeat the above steps, taking care to avoid washing or pulling at the keratin bond for the next 24 hours.

After using K-Tips, you don’t need to wash your hair frequently—once every 2-3 weeks is sufficient. When washing, be gentle and use cold or lukewarm water to avoid damaging the extensions.
