Why Choose Virgin Hair?

- Soft and smooth, wear-resistant. Tests show that virgin hair is more durable than remy hair. Its superior moisture retention makes it softer and smoother, reducing tangling.
- Long-lasting. The cuticles of virgin hair are more intact, making the hair healthier. With proper care, virgin hair can typically last a year or longer.
- Freedom to style and color. Virgin hair is easier to dye or style, while remy hair may have limitations in coloring.
- Cost-effective. Although virgin hair is more expensive due to its higher quality, when considering its lifespan, the daily cost of remy hair is roughly $1 higher than that of virgin hair. Therefore, virgin hair is a more cost-effective choice.
How to Wash Hair Extensions?

SLS, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, denatured alcohol, ethanol, SD alcohol 40, propanol, Isopropyl alcohol and propyl. These ingredients strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to drier hair more prone to tangling or matting. Prolonged use can significantly impact the integrity of your hair, reducing the lifespan of your extensions.
Opt for Sulfate-Free Shampoo:
Avoid shampoos containing sulfates as they can harm hair extensions. While sulfates create lather, they strip natural oils from the hair, resulting in dryness and frizz.
How to Care Hair Extensions?
- Washing & Conditioning: Wash the hair extensions with a sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo. Gently massage it in, avoiding rough movements, and rinse thoroughly with cool water. Limit washing to two or three times a week.
- Detangling: Use a wide-tooth comb or a loop brush for hair extensions to gently detangle, starting from the ends and working up to the roots without tugging.
- Drying: Pat the hair extensions dry with a towel to remove excess water. Avoid rubbing to prevent tangling, and let them air dry to minimize heat damage
- Bedtime Care: Before bed, loosely braid or tie the hair in a low ponytail to prevent tangling. Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and minimize hair breakage.
- Avoiding Chemicals: Limit exposure to chlorine from pools and saltwater from the ocean, as they can damage hair and cause fading or dryness.
- Regular Maintenance: Schedule regular maintenance appointments with a stylist to keep the extensions secure and in good condition.
- Avoiding Heavy Products: Avoid heavy styling products or oils near the attachment points to prevent slippage and loosening of the extensions.

How to Apply Weft Hair Extensions?

How to Remove Sew-in Weft Extensions at Home?
1. Separate the Hair to Expose the Sewn Weft
Start by sectioning your hair to reveal the sewn weft. Remove one stitch at a time, working through the wefts layer by layer. To keep hair out of the way, simply secure it at the top of your head with a hair tie, leaving the extensions exposed.
2. Cut the Threads
Next, use scissors to cut the threads holding the wefts in place. After cutting, gently pull the threads out using a needle tail comb or a rat-tail comb until the weft loosens. Repeat this process until all of the wefts have been removed.
If the wefts are sewn in with micro rings or your hair is braided, you’ll need to address this accordingly. For braided extensions, remove the hair tie holding the braid and carefully detangle it with a comb. If the wefts are attached with micro rings, use pliers to squeeze the rings until they loosen.
3. Brush Your Hair
Once the extensions are removed, gently brush your hair with our luxury extension brush to eliminate any strands that should have fallen out but were stuck due to the wefts. This may be challenging, so consider using a detangling spray, conditioner, or hair oil to make the process easier.
4. Wash Your Hair
After brushing, it’s time to wash your hair. Don’t forget to wash and comb through the hair bundles to ensure they can be reused.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. It sewed by machine, so it can be cut and shaped to fit your head perfectly, which means that you can achieve a seamless and natural-looking result.
Yes, weft extensions generally can work well on most hair types. Genius weft aims to solve the problem of hand tied weft with short hair and also combines its advantages of being suitable for fine and thin hair. At the same time, because it is machine-sewn with thicker density, it is suitable for almost all hair types. Whether you have fine or thick hair.
We recommend using a wide tooth comb to gently comb your hair every day. Use sulfate-free shampoo and extra conditioner to care, air dry instead of blow drying.
