I Tip vs K Tip

I Tip and K Tip are both types of pre-bonded hair extensions. They differ in the shape of the keratin tip, which affects the installation method slightly. Are you unsure about which type of hair extension to choose?

K TIP

K-tips are so versatile that they can even be worn in a high ponytail.

Great for busy women who need low maintenance hair.

K-tips last 4-6 months when properly cared for and require minimal maintenance between sets.

The installation of the K-tip extensions is very intricate and quite time-consuming.

I TIP

An excellent fit for any hair type and work incredibly well with very fine hair.

I-tip extensions can be reused as long as they are given proper care.

Heat is not required when the extensions are applied.

Requires move-up maintenance every 4-8 weeks, depending on your hair’s natural growth.
